“Peaceful Afternoon” I was inspired to do this piece from one of my favorite Jazz songs I love to sing called “It's a Lazy Afternoon”. One of the phrases from that song says “as the beetle bugs are zoomin' and the tulip trees are bloomin' and there's not another human in view but us two”. The lyrics speak about the kind of “Peaceful Afternoon” this young couple in my sculpture are experiencing. | ||
